By accessing or using TraderCongress ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TraderCongress provides a dashboard for viewing publicly available data about congressional stock trades, government contracts, lobbying activity, insider trading filings, and federal spending. Data is sourced from public APIs and government databases.

3. Not Financial Advice

THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY CONGRESSTOCKS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE FINANCIAL, INVESTMENT, TAX, OR LEGAL ADVICE. YOU SHOULD NOT MAKE FINANCIAL DECISIONS BASED SOLELY ON THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THIS SERVICE.

Past performance of any investment does not guarantee future results. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not share your account or use another person's account.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not: (a) scrape or bulk-download data for redistribution; (b) use the Service for automated trading without prior written consent; (c) attempt to bypass subscription limits; (d) interfere with the operation of the Service.

7. Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, data may contain errors, delays, or omissions. We rely on third-party sources and public government databases and do not guarantee their accuracy or completeness. We are not liable for decisions made based on this data.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONGRESSTOCKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS OR INVESTMENT LOSSES.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.
